Five storeys of apartments over a mixed-use ground floor of cafés, medical suites and retail, with two levels of underground parking beneath. The change in use from level to level, and the transfer of loads down through the basement, drove the structural scheme.
The role covered design and construction management, managing the principal contractor on site, inspecting conventional and post-tensioned reinforcement, checking workmanship and resolving RFIs so the finished building matched the specification and the standards.
