A six-storey commuter car park for around 750 vehicles at Rooty Hill station, together with upgraded pedestrian links connecting both sides of the station. A car park of this scale next to a live rail corridor has to be staged carefully, and the pedestrian links had to keep commuters moving throughout.
The role ran across design and construction: managing the principal contractor on site, holding the budget, running variations and RFIs, and making sure the works were built to the specification and the relevant standards.
