Remedial lining and structural assessment of a jet fuel storage tank on a Defence base.
Remedial lining and remediation of a jet fuel storage tank at RAAF Base Williamtown. A fuel-containment structure on an operating Defence base sets a high bar: the repair has to restore the tank while meeting strict security, safety and environmental requirements.
We carried out a structural and durability assessment of the tank and designed a repair and re-lining solution suited to a fuel-containment environment. Access was planned for a confined, hazardous space and around the base's security requirements, with documentation prepared to support compliant delivery.
