Façade remediation and structural repair to cantilevered balconies, courtyards and masonry cavity flashings.
A complex urban remedial scheme on a mixed-use commercial and residential block. Structural defect diagnostics identified the extent of deterioration in the exposed cantilevered balconies before the repair scheme was documented.
The works involved major concrete patch repairs to the cantilevered balconies, re-waterproofing of private outdoor courtyards, replacement of compromised masonry cavity flashings and parapet capping installation. We prepared full tender documentation, superintended the contractor and managed variations, RFIs and final handovers.
